JUNE MEETING RECAP
Omar Passons for Supervisor 2018 joined us at our last meeting. He shared his San Diego County Supervisor District 4 campaign platform. He shared his personal experience campaigning throughout San Diego. Omar supports providing children opportunities starting before kindergarten as well as addressing the homelessness crisis in San Diego. We look forward to having Omar at our meetings in the future and he appreciates all the support we can provided as a club.
Neal Ortiguerra, Operations Manager from Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest provided an overview of the attacks to Planned Parenthood due to the current administration. Click here for the presentation –> PP Attacks.
Thanks to the Grass Roots Organizing Team, MariLee McLean and Katrina Hunt, who shared their experience as GO Team leaders in our neighborhoods. We’re looking forward to supporting the GO Team in 2018.
