April 26th Monthly Meeting – Location Change
The Del Mar library has an event in April and we were not able to secure the room. However, we are meeting at the beautiful Cardiff Library 6pm. Address: 2081 Newcastle Ave Cardiff CA.
Our meetings are free & anyone is able to attend (you do not need to be a member). We will be voting for endorsements and only members in good standing can vote.
Agenda:
-As usual, we will have candidates come speak to our club.
-A presentation about the City of San Diego Initiative known as Soccer City including Q&A. The presentation will be focused on “opposing” this initiative. The initiative is scheduled for the November 2018 ballot.
-Voting on endorsements for Sheriff & DA.
-Voting for club officers.
-Discussion around importance of the CD49th race – presented by Club VP – Stacie Devitt

March 24th
March 24 March for our Lives
Reserve your spot on a bus leaving from Solana Beach
The March for our Lives anti-gun-violence demonstration is taking place on March 24th in downtown San Diego. Kelly Harless, club member, has organized two buses going from the Solana Beach train station to the March. The two buses are full, but if enough people are interested, a third bus will be reserved. The cost of third third bus is approximately $25 per seat.
If you are interested in reserving any seats on the third bus, please email Kelly directly at kanneharless@gmail.com or call her at (858) 349-2693. If she has enough interest, she will reserve the third bus and you can secure your reservation.
April 7
We will have a club table and there are several seats available. This is the annual fundraiser for the San Diego County Democratic Party. Jennifer Granholm is the featured speaker. Other speakers will be candidates for Governor and U.S. Senate. Guests include numerous candidates running for office this year. Join us & mingle!
