Summer Party 2018
Thanks for joining us at our summer party at the home of Janette & Doug Shelton. We had Cipriano Vargas from Flip the 49th talk about their efforts to ensure we elect a Democrat for our 49th Congressional District and the importance of focusing on low turnout voters. Ellen Montanari discussed the opportunities we have to support Mike Levin , candidate for the 49th Congressional District, right in our community of Solana Beach.

We’re excited that two of our dedicated members are running for 2 open slots for the Solana Beach City Council: Kristi Becker & Kelly Harless. They both received the official San Diego County Democratic endorsement. This is great news and means they will appear on the Go Team door hangars. Let’s support them at the candidate forum on Thursday, Sept. 20th, 6pm at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. This forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters.
We also had our newest member & candidate for Del Mar city council, Dwight Worden, introduce himself to everyone.
We met all of the 4 candidates for the Solana Beach school district: Gaylin Allbaugh, Vicki King, Julie O’Dell, Debra Schade.
